MG Motor unveiled the MG E-Motion at the Shanghai International Automotive Show; a high-performance electric car that 'brings MG's sense of fun and aspiration to the low emission marketplace'.
Design details for the fastback coupé include a starlight matrix front grille, headlamps inspired by the London Eye and vertical tail lamps. The pure electric modular architecture platform underneath the E-Motion was developed in-house. Performance claims include 0-62mph in less than four seconds and a 310-mile range. To appeal to younger buyers an 'intelligent infotainment system' is fitted and the car is said to be fully internet compatible.
