Europe’s biggest Mini fan event comes to Ireland in May.

What's the news?

3,000 Mini fans and 1,200 versions of the iconic small (and latterly not so small) car will descend on Westport House in County Mayo from the 25th to the 28th of May for the International Mini Meet Festival 2017. It's the biggest Mini event in Europe and will include a treasure hunt along the Wild Atlantic Way, 'Olympic' games, a Puc Fada competition, awards for the best cars and much more. Guests of honour will include Irish motor sport superstars Mervyn Johnson and Paddy Hopkirk.

While the event is primarily about classic 1959 to 2000 Minis, the new models will be represented by Colm Quinn MINI, which will be one of the show's official partners. "It's not every day a festival like this comes to Ireland and we are delighted to get the opportunity to be involved. Congratulations to the Irish MINI Owners Club for securing Ireland as the host country for this established International MINI Meet festival, it is a great honour for us to be involved" said Colm Quinn.

The event is open to the public, and a full weekend ticket costs €95 including camping, while tickets on the gate for the Sunday will be from just €10, with free entry for kids.
