What's the news?
Bentley has created the Flying Spur Design Series; inspired by the flash of colour on a suit lining or the vibrant stitching on a leather saddle.
Just 100 vehicles will be produced with special trim details in a choice of five interior and exterior accent colour splits; Mandarin, Pillar Box Red, White, Kingfisher and Azure Purple. The Design Series is available in all Flying Spur versions; V8, W12, V8 S, W12 S.
Exterior
The Flying Spur Design Series V8 S sits on 21-inch six twin-spoke wheels, which have been black-machined. W12 S models come with Directional Sports Wheels in Gloss Black plus black brightwork around the headlamps and grille.
Interior
Perforated leather on the seats allows the accent colour to show through while the same trim detail features on the inside of the top roll and waist rail tops. This gives customers a choice of three hide colours when ordering. The accent colour also features as a '12 o'clock stripe' on the steering wheel.
Apart from the leather there is Titanium-enriched carbon fibre on the waist rails and fascia panel of the Design Series; a finish previously only used in the aviation industry.
Anything else?
The accent colour is repeated on the sill tread plates, which carry an illuminated 'Mulliner' logo.
