What's the news?
Bentley has introduced a last-hurrah special edition of the Continental GT, called the Galene and inspired by the world of luxury yachts. Named for the Greek goddess of calm seas, just 30 Galenes will be built, as Bentley gets ready to introduce the all-new Continental GT later this year.
Built in collaboration with Princess Yachts (purveyor of sumptuous speedboats to the well-heeled), the Galene features a choice of Glacier White or Sequin Blue paint, blue-tinted chrome accents, polished 21-inch wheels inspired by propellors, and a dark-blue convertible hood.
Inside, you get blue-and-white leather with camel stitching, while there is actually a hand-painted illustration of a yacht by artist Jaume Vilardell on the fascia. Yes, really.
There's also pinstriped walnut wood everywhere (even lining the floor of the boot), while the cabin stowage areas are lined in Alcantara.
Price? If you have to ask you can't afford it...
