What's the news?

Hyundai is going to use the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to show off a trio of new technologies for its product range, the chief attraction being the next-generation hydrogen-powered fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV).

The as-yet unnamed FCEV hybrid, seen in the pictures here, will feature the latest Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technologies and joins Hyundai's growing portfolio of electric and part-electric cars as the manufacturer looks to slash its fleet emissions.

In addition to the FCEV, the name of which will be revealed at CES, Hyundai will also show off hydrogen-powered applications in the home as part of its Hydrogen Life Vision display, while Intelligent Personal Cockpit - featuring AI-enhanced voice recognition and vital sign-based monitoring - demonstrates the company's idea of the future perspective from the driver's seat of its cars.

Anything else?

Hyundai's press conference at CES will be livestreamed, so if you're interested in watching Chris Urmson, CEO of Aurora, join key Hyundai executives to talk about joint R&D of autonomous driving technology, and you're nowhere near Las Vegas, then go to Hyundai YouTube at 11pm on Monday, January 8, to tune in.
