Windsor Renault and Dacia arrives in Galway

Windsor Motor Group open new Dacia and Renault dealership.

What's the news?

One of Ireland's largest vehicle retailers, Windsor Motor Group, is to open new Dacia and Renault dealerships in Galway. The Windsor Galway Renault and Windsor Galway Dacia dealerships take the of Bradley Motor Works and will operate from an existing site on the Old Dublin Road.

It brings the number of dealerships the group has to 17, and it currently employs 340 people. "It's wonderful to be appointed Renault and Dacia dealers in Galway," said Peter Nicholson, Managing Director. "The addition of the Renault and Dacia brands to the group allows us to broaden our multi-franchise offering and most importantly benefits our customers as we continue our push to become the leading motor retailer in Ireland."

Heading up the new operation as Dealer Principal is Michael Butler, while Enda Cantrell will take up the position of Sales Manager and Pat Faherty as Service Manager. The site is currently undergoing a transition, with new Renault Store signage due to be erected by the end of July. A new interior fit-out, in-line with the latest brand corporate identity will be completed in late September.

Commenting on the announcement, Patrick Magee, Country Operations Director, Renault Group Ireland, said: "We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Windsor Motor Group as the new name for Renault and Dacia in County Galway. The new dealership is looking forward to a busy 182 period, and customers will continue to receive the highest-quality service at Windsor Galway Renault and Windsor Galway Dacia."
