Brightstone Trading, which has Citroen and SEAT dealerships and is Ireland's largest Ford dealer including Airside Ford, Ashley Ford and Rialto Ford, is to open a dedicated Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles operation in September 2019. Initially, the Volkswagen Van Centre North Dublin will operate from the company's East Wall premises, while the company constructs a new dealership in the Airside complex in Swords, Co. Dublin. That new development, on a 2-acre site, is expected to be completed later in 2020.
Better service and longer opening hours
The new Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Service Plus Van Centre will include sales and service of the full range of its vans, and will also become the fourth retailer in the country to specialise in its camper vans including the new Grand California. As part of the operation, the workshop will feature six vehicle bays, and as part of the Service Plus standards will operate flexible opening hours to minimise disruption to van owners.
