First dual dynamic images of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Valhalla models captured in video.

For the first time ever, Aston Martin has run its two Norse-named mid-engined super/hypercars together, giving us a video of the Valkyrie and Valhalla in action.

In action together

The video, released to coincide with the Valhalla's US debut at the Monterey Car Week's 'Quail' display, shows both cars being put through their paces at Aston's official test facility at Silverstone, by high-performance test driver Chris Goodwin.

The Valkyrie had already made its dynamic debut at the British Grand Prix in July, but prior to this the Valhalla has only ever been displayed statically. However, this video of the cars in testing shows that the mid-engined machines are drawing ever nearer to market launch.

The Valhalla is more of a road-orientated vehicle than the extreme Valkyrie, but even so it uses F1 technology and active aerodynamics to create one very special supercar. Powered by a mid-mounted Aston twin-turbo V6, just 500 Valhalla coupes will be built for the global market. The Valkyrie, meanwhile, it already sold out and first customer deliveries are scheduled for later this year.
