Suzuki Ireland has announced that Downey's Auto Stop will represent the brand through a six-car showroom located at the Dublin Road in Portlaoise. In addition to a modern workshop, the premises will also carry body repair and valeting facilities.
Speaking about the appointment, Dale Wyatt, Director of Automobile at Suzuki GB PLC, said: "Ireland has always been a key market for Suzuki, and it remains our ambition to continue to grow our footprint to be able to achieve the greatest coverage possible for customers. Downey's Auto Stop has been selling cars in the region for more than 30 years, and their unrivalled knowledge of the local market, coupled with an extensive customer base, will prove invaluable in helping to building our brand presence. We are delighted to have Downey's Auto Stop on board, and we look forward to a successful '192' registration period."
Growing portfolio for Downey's Auto Stop
The opening of its Suzuki showroom boosts the group's portfolio of brands, which also includes Ford and Kia.
