No, you haven't accidentally tripped through a gap in time. Rolls-Royce has perfectly recreated a motor show stand from the 1950s for visitors of the Goodwood Revival to experience the glitz and glamour of a bygone era. The 2019 Goodwood Revival celebrates its 21st edition this weekend and the company, who are neighbours with a factory just up the road from the circuit, are helping to make it a memorable one.
A luxurious experience for show-goers
Invited guests to the Rolls-Royce stand will be able to experience that famous 'magic carpet ride' through a fleet of modern models. These will be on hand to transport them to and from the Revival and the factory, or as it prefers to call it, the Home of Rolls-Royce. A display at the March Motor Works will showcase a 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Could I two-door drophead coupe. This particular car is one of only a handful that was created by famed coachbuilder H. J. Mulliner.
On the track, a 1961 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II long wheelbase saloon will join the Course Director's entourage. The car, finished in a beautiful Sage Green over Smoke Green, has only 9,500 miles on its clock.
