Stunning Bugatti boat

Veyron inspires extravagant motor yacht concept.

If you think the million-pound Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu is an expensive way to mark the end of the hyper car's production, it's a snip compared to the Sang Bleu yacht.

Designed by Ben Walsh as a tribute to the Bugatti, the Sang Bleu yacht has been designed to be made from carbon fibre and aluminium. Inside, leather, wood and more carbon fibre are used to trim the boat.

Walsh is a former car designer who has worked at GM's Advanced Design studio and had a hand in the Cadillac Converj concept. Sadly, like the Cadillac concept, the Sang Bleu yacht is unlikely ever to be built due to the cost of making a one-off boat of this style.

There's no word on what motor would be used to power the Sang Bleu yacht, but it has a single propeller that hints at just one engine. Would Bugatti donate a W16 from a Veyron? We'll never know.
