Should you find yourself in the position where an off-the-line standard Bentley Continental GT Convertible simply won't do, the company has gone one further with the introduction of an even more unique Mulliner version.
Easily recognisable by its exclusive Double Diamond grille pattern, inspired by the Diamond-in-Diamond quilting design that adorns all four seats, door cards and, for the first time on a Bentley, the tonneau cover. The painstaking process uses contrasting colours to highlight the detail and almost 400,000 stitches go into each cabin. It took Bentley's incredibly talented craftspeople 18 months to perfect the process.
The luxury inside the cabin doesn't end there, and being a Bentley there is plenty of high-end items inside such as an exclusive brushed silver Breitling timepiece that is set within a quartet of chrome bullseyes. That same brushed finish appears in the LED digital instrument display. Owners can also enjoy a 2,200-watt, eighteen speaker audio system from Naim that includes a 20-channel amplifier and eight DSP sound modes with Active Bass.
Other exterior features include vast 22-inch wheels that are unique to the Continental GT Mulliner Convertible. The ten-spoke rotors are painted and polished and incorporate a self-levelling wheel badge similar to those seen on Rolls-Royce cars. The Mulliner name adorns the side vents that have a silver on black diamond finish. Just in case you can't find one of the 61 paint options available in the Bentley Mulliner range, there is the option to have colour-match to any item or sample you might wish to supply.
Two engine options including a W12.
The Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible will be available to buyers with a choice of engines. It 'starts' with the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, but really it's the W12 engine that will be the one to have with this car. That 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 can propel the sporty land yacht from rest to 100km/h in a mere 3.8 seconds and go on to a top speed of 333km/h.
