Ford Capri
The Ford Capri is a new coupe-SUV taking a little inspiration from the original sporty coupe.
The Capri is back! Except it’s not really, not if you were expecting a low-slung 2+2 coupe that might appear in several all-action detective TV series. The new Capri is nothing like its predecessor and is effectively a five-door fastback version of the new Explorer electric SUV. It’s slightly awkwardly styled (strong shades of Polestar 2 in the side profile) but nicer inside, where you get sports seats and an adjustable portrait-style touchscreen. The original Capri was (whisper it) a bit rubbish to drive, so we’re expecting this 2020s revival to be nicer on the road than the original.
