Renault is leaning hard on the retro-styling button at the moment, and hot on the heels of the utterly gorgeous little Renault 5 EV comes this, the electric recreation of the doughty, practical, utilitarian Renault 4. This electric version rather wonderfully transposes the exterior style of the original 4 to the present day, but the cabin is far more luxurious and high-tech than owners of the original 4 would ever have dreamed of. Space is good, and there’s a useful boot, too.
