In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, many companies launched initiatives to do what they could to help people in a time of crisis and SEAT Ireland was no different. The Spanish car brand made a fleet of SEAT Alhambra people carriers available to the Mater Hospital in Dublin to enable healthcare workers to provide safe transport to patients after their discharge.
Additionally, SEAT also provided a fleet of its eXS kickscooters for staff as quick and simple transport around the hospital grounds and to and from work. In recognition of this, Fleet Transport gave its Heroes Award to SEAT Ireland.
Upon receiving the award, Niall Phillips, Brand Director at SEAT Ireland, said: We are honoured to be recognised for our contribution in helping the frontline staff as they try and navigate this pandemic. These selfless healthcare workers have been working tirelessly to keep us all safe and we were delighted to be able to support them by providing these vehicles during this time."
