The new Ray D'Arcy show on RTE Radio 1 is yet to air but it has already secured a lucrative sponsorship with the announcement that Volkswagen Ireland has penned an 18-month deal. The deal to sponsor the new D'Arcy new afternoon show, which will air between 3pm and 4.30pm from Monday, February 2nd, will include a suite of weekly promos for Volkswagen across the Morning Ireland, Today with Sean O'Rourke, News at One, Liveline and Marian Finucane shows in addition to six sponsorship stings on the D'Arcy show. Outside broadcasts and promotions have also been included in the package.
"I'm thrilled that Volkswagen have come on board and we are hugely encouraged by the fact that they have chosen to sponsor the show for 18 months," commented Ray D'Arcy on the announcement of the deal.
"We are very excited to come on board as the sponsor of The Ray D'Arcy Show at its new home in RTE Radio 1," were the words from Paul O'Sullivan, Head of Marketing at Volkswagen Ireland.
