Skoda Ireland has announced it is to extend its agreement with Tipperary GAA and has presented a pair of kit vans to the premier county to mark the occasion.
The agreement will see Skoda Ireland continue to act as the official kit vehicle partner for the inter-county football and hurling teams with two new Yeti Sherpa vans the latest in a €500,000 partnership between the organisations.
Speaking about the sponsorship, Raymond Leddy, Head of Marketing & Product at Skoda Ireland said: "We had a brilliant four-year relationship with Tipperary GAA, with highlights including participation in three All Ireland Senior Hurling Finals, two National League Finals, plus Minor All Ireland titles in both Hurling and Football. Building on the past four years we are delighted now to be the official kit vehicle supplier for Tipperary GAA."
Commenting, Tipperary County Board Chairman, Michael Bourke, said: "Skoda have been a great supporter of Tipperary GAA over the last four years and we are delighted to have them back on board. The Yeti Sherpa commercial vehicles make excellent kit vans and will assist all our squads in bringing future premier hurling and football success."
