Is my BMW worth anything as scrap?

Hi, I have 2000 BMW 316 that passed the NCT two weeks ago, has new tyres and is in great condition, but ran out of oil on the motorway to Dublin last week and the engine seized. Now it's not really worth repairing I don't think so wondering what options I would have. Is it worth anything for scrappage? I got quoted €150 max.

Thanks, Scott

What are 'pre-reg' cars and are they good value?

Hi, I was in a Volkswagen dealership recently looking to buy a new car. The salesman said I should come back at the end of the month when they will have new "pre reg" vehicles and I will get a much better deal then. Can you explain what this is and will I really get a better deal, it sounds too good to be true!

Thanks

Is the Mazda RX-8 suitable for a learner driver?

Hi, I am about to buy my first car and I have my eye on a Mazda RX-8 that my neighbour is selling, but I'm not sure if I should make an offer because I hear insurance is going to be an issue and I'm not sure if they're suitable for learner drivers.

What do you think?
