Would diesel, hybrid or PHEV suit my needs?

Diesel, hybrid or PHEV? I do a 200km round trip commute most days. A mix of 140km motorway and 60km small rural roads and stop-start city traffic. Other days I could do 300/400km of which 25 per cent would be city type traffic. Is diesel still my better option? For a PHEV I could plug in at home or at my destination most times.

Should I repair my Mondeo before trading in?

I have a 2008 Mondeo 1.8 TDCi with 230,000 kilometres on the clock that I was planning on trading in against a new car. There are a couple of nasty scrapes on two of the wheel arches that I've been quoted €977 to repair and the rear axle bushes need replacing, which will cost another €350. Other than that the car is mechanically sound with all servicing and wear and tear maintenance up to date. The car has a full service history through a main Ford dealer and I've owned it since new. Given that at best, I'd expect to trade it in for €3k or scrappage, is it worth my while getting the work before trading in, or would I be better off taking the hit as part of a trade in?

Should I get a remap for my 2009 Audi A6?

Can you please advise on getting a remap? I own an 2009 Audi A6 TDIe 136hp with low mileage and in great condition. However, I used to own a diesel Octavia RS and miss the power in the bigger, heavier Audi, but do not want to buy a new car. I am considering getting a remap. What do you think of this? Is it worth it?
